KSF Welcomes New Enrollment and Alumni Program Manager

09/17/2025

Kids’ Scholarship Fund (KSF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Shelly Walsh as its new Enrollment and Alumni Program Manager, effective September 1, 2025.

This newly expanded role builds upon the former Scholarship Program Manager position to encompass two critical areas of focus: managing student enrollment processes and strengthening school partnerships, while also launching a robust alumni engagement program to support the long-term success of KSF Scholars through high school, college, and beyond.

“The Enrollment and Alumni Program Manager position is critical to our mission because it not only ensures that students and families have access to a seamless application and enrollment process, but also establishes a foundation for alumni engagement,” said Nicole Talmadge, Executive Director of Kids’ Scholarship Fund. “Shelly brings extraordinary experience in relationship-building, strategic program management, and stakeholder engagement. We are thrilled to welcome her to our team.”

Walsh shared, “I’m honored to join an organization making such a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across Connecticut. I am eager to support families as they navigate the scholarship application process, collaborate with our partner schools to ensure the best opportunities for KSF Scholars, and help build an alumni network that celebrates and strengthens the lifelong success of our students.” Shelly Walsh

With more than 20 years of experience across education, healthcare, technology, and the nonprofit sector, Walsh brings a proven track record of advancing programs, fostering partnerships, and aligning organizational goals with the needs of stakeholders. Her career path includes early admissions roles in higher education, managing 100+ client accounts at Formstack, cultivating hospital partnerships at Abbott, and leading sales and engagement initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry. Known for her collaborative and consultative leadership style, she excels at developing lasting relationships and delivering sustainable, mission-driven impact.

“Shelly has been seeking a professional path where her passion for education, access, and equity can truly thrive,” Talmadge added. “We are incredibly fortunate that she has found that mission-driven home here at Kids’ Scholarship Fund.”
