Mission

Kids’ Scholarship Fund empowers Connecticut children from low-income families to reach their full potential by providing equal access to a high-quality, foundational K-8 education through need-based scholarships that enable families to choose schools where their children can learn, grow, and thrive.

What We Do and Who We Help

Connecticut families seek KSF’s assistance because they want a better life for their children. Parents understand how important it is for their children to attend the K-8 school that best meets the needs and abilities of their children.
KSF provides equal access to K-8 accredited private, parochial, religiously-affiliated, or non-residency public schools in Connecticut by awarding up to $2,100 each year. Parents are responsible for the remaining tuition.
Parents/guardians qualify if their income level is verified at or within 200% of the Federal Poverty Income level for the size of their family.
Residents of Connecticut may apply.

The Challenge

Kids' Scholarship Fund receives more than twice the number of qualified applicant than scholarships available.
