KSF Names Its First Alumni Representative to the Board

06/03/2026

Madison, Connecticut – June 3, 2026

Kids’ Scholarship Fund (KSF) has appointed its first-ever Alumni Representative to the Board of Directors, naming Nicholas Posada — a former KSF scholarship recipient and graduate of St. Andrew Academy in Bridgeport — to the newly established role.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Nicholas to the Board,” said Nicole Talmadge, KSF Executive Director. “Adding the first alumni voice is a true milestone that will strengthen long-term engagement with scholarship recipients, family members, and partner schools, and ensure alumni perspectives inform KSF’s strategic direction.”

Nicholas began his academic journey at St. Andrew Academy, where he built a strong foundation for future success. He went on to attend Fairfield Prep and later graduated from Fairfield University. This summer, he will begin his career as an analyst at Bank of America. His educational path reflects the long-term impact of early access to a strong K–8 foundation.

“I’m honored to represent KSF alumni and help ensure future scholars have the same opportunities I did,” said Posada. “Without the support of Kids’ Scholarship Fund, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

“Nicholas’ story is a powerful example of what is possible for KSF scholars,” said Lew Andrews, KSF Board Chair. “His journey shows that with determination, support, and opportunity, students can achieve whatever goals they set for themselves. – and why alumni leadership matters.”

“From elementary school to college graduation and into a successful career, Nicholas has embraced every opportunity to grow and succeed,” added Shelly Walsh, KSF Enrollment and Alumni Program Manager. “We are thrilled to see him step into this leadership role as our Alumni Program continues to grow.”
